 Common Error Messages

Click here to view common error messages that may be displayed to you when purchasing prepaid vouchers, particularly for prepaid electricity. Many of the error messages are messages that Quantum Wallet receives from the upstream Eskom and municipality prepaid vending systems. The error messages page we provide contains guidelines to assist you with the required action when you receive an error message.

 

We will post advisories regarding the availability of prepaid electricity when we become aware that there is a problem. If you encounter problems when purchasing prepaid electricity, please let our helpdesk know so that we can report the problem to the owners of our upstream vending systems, or diagnose whether the problem is with the Quantum Wallet system.

 

Please note that some municipality prepaid vending systems are more reliable than others. Some municipality prepaid vending systems give intermittent problems on an almost daily basis (such as Ekurhuleni), and many may experience problems during peak sales periods such as month-end, e.g. with Eskom.
